Connecting with SAS-NB Advising: Live Chat Guidelines
Welcome to our Live Chat support for SAS-NB students! We're here to assist you in your academic journey. Before you begin, it's important to understand when to use Live Chat for quick answers and when to schedule an advising appointment for more comprehensive guidance.
When to Use Live Chat:
Quick Questions, Quick Answers:
- Live Chat is perfect for brief queries that can be resolved in a few minutes.
- Use it for urgent issues like registration, course availability, or campus resources.
- If you need a rapid response to a time-sensitive concern, Live Chat is your option.
When to Schedule an Advising Appointment
- If you have questions about declaring a major or minor, degree requirements, or creating a long-term academic plan, it's best to schedule an advising appointment. If you have specific questions about major or minor requirements, it's best for you to speak with an advisor in that program.
- For discussions about internships, career goals, or graduation requirements, we recommend setting up an advising appointment as well as accessing appointments and workshops with Career Exploration and Success.
- Use advising appointments for comprehensive discussions about your educational goals, study abroad opportunities, or academic challenges.
