Special Populations

Welcome!

Students considered part of our SAS Special Populations have life circumstances that may require specialized advising and other services, and includes students in need of academic accommodations, students in the Mountainview program, students with long-term disabilities, students with emotional and psychological health conditions, and students on the autism spectrum. We work in conjunction with other offices at Rutgers to help students coordinate a range of services across the University.

The Nontraditional Students and Special Populations team is located in the Douglass Advising Center. Deans and staff can be reached by email at nontraditional@sas.rutgers.edu.
