At the end of both the Fall and Spring semesters, you academic standing will be assessed.
Possible Academic Statuses include:

Fall or Spring semester term GPA is a minimum of 3.500 in 12 or more graded credits (excluding Pass/No Credit and E credits). |

Fall or Spring semester term GPA is a minimum of 2.000. |

Fall or Spring semester term GPA is lower than 2.000, but your previous semester was Satisfactory Standing. This is an opportunity to seek support through advising and our student success initiatives! You are not alone in your path to academic regrowth. |

Term GPA is lower than 2.000 for two or more consecutive semesters (Fall/Spring). Students on probation are limited to 16 credits and required to seek group or individual advising. We are committed to supporting your academic recovery and degree completion! |

Assessed after Spring grades only; the School of Arts and Sciences does not dismiss midyear. Suspension/Dismissal is based on your cumulative GPA and declared Class Year. All Suspension and Dismissal students are invited into an individual appointment to discuss your unique circumstances and explore our pathways to reinstatement. |
